The property was calm. The category isn’t.
Ellaki Valley’s whole proposition is quiet – forest, mist, a pool with nobody in it. But hospitality social media in India is a wall of noise: neon “BOOK NOW”, four fonts per post, starburst discount badges, drop shadows on everything.
Following that convention would have contradicted the product. If the feed feels frantic, the stay doesn’t look restful, no matter what the caption says.
Let the photography breathe.
One typeface family. One idea per post. Text placed in the empty part of the frame rather than across the subject, so the landscape is never fighting the words.
A high-contrast serif does the emotional work – it reads as considered and slightly old-world, which is exactly the register a plantation property wants. A small diamond motif and a hairline rule act as the only recurring graphic device, enough to make the grid feel like one account rather than a folder of stock images.
