The brief

The property was calm. The category isn’t.

Ellaki Valley’s whole proposition is quiet – forest, mist, a pool with nobody in it. But hospitality social media in India is a wall of noise: neon “BOOK NOW”, four fonts per post, starburst discount badges, drop shadows on everything.

Following that convention would have contradicted the product. If the feed feels frantic, the stay doesn’t look restful, no matter what the caption says.

The approach

Let the photography breathe.

One typeface family. One idea per post. Text placed in the empty part of the frame rather than across the subject, so the landscape is never fighting the words.

A high-contrast serif does the emotional work – it reads as considered and slightly old-world, which is exactly the register a plantation property wants. A small diamond motif and a hairline rule act as the only recurring graphic device, enough to make the grid feel like one account rather than a folder of stock images.

The feed

Hospitality social media design, built as a grid rather than posts.

Individual posts were composed with their neighbours in mind – heavy typographic frames alternate with quiet full-bleed photography, so the profile page reads with rhythm instead of turning into a solid block of text-over-image.

The system

Rules, so it survives without a designer.

A batch of finished posts lasts a month. What lasts longer is a small set of constraints the property’s own team can follow.

Why it works

Restraint reads as expensive.

Guests choosing a weekend property are making an aesthetic decision as much as a practical one. The feed is the showroom.

Every discount badge and neon call-to-action removed from a post is a small signal that the property doesn’t need to compete on price. For a stay selling calm, that signal is the product – and it costs nothing to send, as long as somebody is disciplined enough not to add one more thing.

The outcome

A feed that looks like the place.

The account now reads as a single considered brand rather than a rolling album of holiday photos – and the templates mean the next post looks like the last one, whoever makes it.
